As many of us celebrated Thanksgiving, one of Bonfyre’s international customers, the world’s leading coffee retailer, hosted their annual European business development conference in London.
The 2-day event brought over 70 partners together from around Europe to address 2016 strategic initiatives and key marketing tactics, welcome select business partners, and give back to the local community.
In search for a mobile application to enhance the conference experience, they utilized Bonfyre to drive engagement and partner interaction at every stage of the event, develop a digital agenda, keep partners in-the-know around hotel and travel information, and facilitate networking opportunities with some of Bonfyre’s premium features like 3D Interactive Globe.
Within a month’s time, the bonfyre launched and engagement soared! The Vice President responsible for overseeing the conference said Bonfyre exceeded expectations even before the event started:
“I was extremely excited and proud of the way the Bonfyre App was so well adopted and received by my entire team. The engagement and levels of fun people were having with Bonfyre was incredible–everybody loved it!”
Over the course of 3 weeks, the bonfyre saw fantastic results with 100% adoption, 793 pieces of content shared and a total of 4,400 app opens. “Pop” surveys were also deployed to help gain pertinent attendee feedback and insights, such as drink and menu options, for the conference in real-time.
While activation was certainly a success, the teamwork between Bonfyre and this leading company in the coffee retail industry was unparalleled. With international partnerships come vast time differences and unique barriers; yet, both teams worked swiftly to launch a seamless, private, social experience for the conference attendees.
The Vice President also reflected on the customer support they received from discovery to activation and post-event:
